Southwest Bible Conference

Join us in Phoenix this November for the Southwest Bible Conference. This year's theme is Unlocking the Treasure: Discipleship on the Road to Emmaus. Don't miss this unique chance to study Scripture from the heart of the Church with Scott Hahn and John Bergsma, two renowned leaders in Catholic Scripture study. Learn to encounter Christ in Scripture and accept the challenge of following him in discipleship.

In Luke's Gospel, we're given a powerful example of Christ's personal invitation to discipleship. When Jesus appears to two disciples on the road to Emmaus, he unlocks the Scriptures so that they might encounter him first in Scripture: "Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them what referred to him in all the Scriptures" (Luke 24:27). Jesus sets their hearts on fire by breaking open the Scriptures, but it is only in the breaking of the bread that their eyes are opened to who Jesus really is (Luke 24:31-32).

Accept the challenge of discipleship. Like the two disciples on the road to Emmaus, encounter Jesus in Scripture and the Mass, and be sent forth to proclaim with the Apostles, "The Lord has truly been raised" (Luke 24:34).

Register now—don't miss this unique opportunity to study Scripture from the heart of the Church and to encounter Jesus in the Word and the Eucharist.

Sixth Annual Gala Dinner

Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Atlanta, GA

Friday, October 25, 2019

Scott and Kimberly Hahn and the St. Paul Center Board of Trustees extend a warm invitation to you for our Sixth Annual Gala Dinner. We're excited to host this year's Gala in Atlanta, GA, at the beautiful Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, one of metropolitan Atlanta's most prestigious venues.

Please join us in commemorating a year of great blessings and in honoring two long-time supporters of the Church, Tim Busch and Betsy Orr. We're pleased to award Tim Busch the first annual St. Luke Awardand to award Betsy Orr the Lydia Award in recognition of their outstanding service to the Church.

Scott and Kimberly Hahn founded the St. Paul Center seventeen years ago with the desire to help others read the Bible from the heart of the Church. The mission of the St. Paul Center is to promote biblical literacy for the laity and biblical fluency for the priesthood. In the seventeen years since Scott and Kimberly founded the Center, we've found new ways to accomplish this mission through our Journey Through Scripture Bible studies, Emmaus Road Publishing and Emmaus Academic, and our outreach to priests, especially in our two annual Priest Conferences. And more is on the horizon! We look forward to having you join us as we look back on past accomplishments and look forward to new initiatives at our Sixth Annual Gala Dinner.

Join us for this amazing and inspiring evening—register here!

“Behold, I give you a wise and discerning mind…”– 1 Kings 3:12

Scripture deepens our faith and strengthens our hearts, but comprehending it can often be challenging and frustrating. This is why at the Applied Biblical Studies Conference, you receive teaching and instruction from a team of world-renowned Scripture scholars and authors who make understanding Scripture easier for both those new to the Bible and those who have been studying it for years.

Wisdom is a gift that the Lord gives us to help us discern His will for our lives. It illuminates our path so that we may follow where He is leading us.

This summer at the Applied Biblical Studies Conference, come and learn from the Word of God, that He may increase wisdom within you so that you may know His voice.

Speakers include renowned Catholic authors, speakers, and scholars Scott and Kimberly Hahn, John Bergsma, Edward Sri, and Curtis Martin.
