Speaking Invitation Process

Step One : Let us know who you are. Complete our on-line inquiry submission form. We will send you an information packet via e-mail.

Step Two : Review the information we send you. Assure that it is compatible with the type of event you are planning or envisioning, and that all those who will be responsible for hosting Scott from your parish or organization agree to the arrangements specified in the packet.

Step Three : E-mail us a letter of invitation. Please make sure the letter includes the following:

The name of the Contact Person used in step one;

A specific mention that you have reviewed the Scheduled Event Planning Letter and that the information outlined there is acceptable to you (Or, specify which items you would like to alter);

Specific dates for which you are inviting Scott to speak (General requests like 'Any Saturday in the Fall of next year' are acceptable.);

A few sentences describing the type of event you wish to host;

An address and phone number.

Please assure that you have your letter to us by the appropriate deadline. Our deadlines are February 15 and August 15 each year. If your event is between September and February, please have the letter to us no later than the February 15 before your event. If your event is between March and August, please have the letter to us no later than August 15 of the year previous to the event. Early invitations are fine, too.

Step Four : When we receive your letter of invitation, we will send an e-mail acknowledging it has been received. Scott and Kimberly will begin discerning their schedule after all of the invitations are gathered, after each invitation deadline passes.

Step Five : You will be notified by e-mail as soon as a decision is made regarding your invitation. Please allow several weeks after the deadline passes for the decision to reach you.

A note about Kimberly's availability:

If you would like to invite Kimberly to speak at an event along with Scott or on her own, please follow these same steps. Currently Kimberly travels only a few times per year for speaking engagements.
